Compliance

Safety and regulatory requirements are an important part of every machinery project undertaken by Intermach.

The machines we supply are manufactured to CE specifications and are provided with a Certificate of Conformity. These documents form part of the technical information considered when preparing machinery for supply into the Australian market.

Because Australian requirements can differ depending on the machine, its intended use and the workplace in which it will operate, compliance is considered on a project-by-project basis rather than treated as a standard checklist.

Intermach works directly with its manufacturing partners to review relevant machine specifications, safety features, guarding, operating documentation and installation requirements before equipment is placed into service.

Safety and Compliance Knowledge

Our technical and project teams receive ongoing training and maintain an active understanding of machinery safety, relevant Australian requirements and the compliance considerations associated with the equipment we supply.

This allows potential requirements to be identified early and discussed with the manufacturer, installer and customer as part of the overall machinery project.

What We Consider

Depending on the equipment and installation, this may include:

Relevant Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.
Machine guarding and access protection.
Emergency stops, interlocks and other safety systems.
Manufacturer technical and safety documentation.
CE documentation and Certificates of Conformity.
Installation and commissioning requirements.
Any additional considerations specific to the customer's site or intended application.

Our focus is on ensuring safety and compliance requirements are considered as part of the complete machinery supply process — from specification and technical review through to installation and commissioning.

Intermach has supplied, installed and supported industrial machinery in Australia for decades, and we understand that delivering the right machine involves more than its performance alone. Safety, documentation, installation and suitability for the intended workplace are all part of delivering a professional machinery solution.
