Alex Goodrich
Alex (BEng, MBA) has been managing Intermach since 2017. With extensive experience in fiber lasers, studying them in depth since their introduction to the Australian market, he has also received specialized training in Germany for the operation and maintenance of high-power laser systems from IPG Laser GmbH.
Alex’s background is steeped in machinery supply and service. He grew up playing hide and seek among the machines at the factory his father, John, established in 1992 for industrial equipment supply; the very same factory Intermach continues to operate from to this day.
Michael Curcio
Michael (BAppSc) joined the Intermach family in 2021 after spending 15 years working as a project manager in construction.
He brings an unrivalled enthusiasm and work ethic to the team and his many years of project management experience makes for the smooth operation of our installation and service projects as well as the mentoring of our young but experienced team.
Greg Cox
Greg has decades of real industry experience, originally trained by Amada and working with them for over 8 years. Japanese turret punches and CO2 laser optics were his specialty; now Greg is a true master of fiber lasers after installing well over 100 with the team and having undergone fiber optic laser source training in Germany.
He’s been in the Intermach family for decades and is extremely well known and respected in the industry. If you have a history in sheet metal, he has more than likely gotten you out of trouble before!
Garth Haig
Garth has a decade of experience in equipment sales in the manufacturing and fabrication industry.
Garth is a specialist in complex machinery systems and solutions, especially high power and automation. Get in touch with him for expert advice about anything, big or small!
Kyle Murphy
Kyle, like Alex, was raised working in a family business deeply rooted in mechanical engineering and is a highly skilled third-generation fitter and turner.
A true mechanical expert, Kyle has an exceptional talent for all things mechanical. Outside of work, he dedicates much of his time to his passion for rebuilding cars and engines, often spending weekends immersed in his craft.
Jianing Nie
After working closely with over 30 Chinese-born fiber laser engineers over the past ten years, we have carefully chosen Jianing (Diky) as the standout candidate to join the Intermach team.
We’re excited to welcome Diky, a highly skilled fiber laser technician, as a permanent member of our local team based here in Victoria.
Dan Hurd
Dan has been a key part of the Intermach team for several years, learning under the expert guidance of Alex and Greg. His passion for four-wheel driving and all things mechanical fuels his hands-on approach and dedication to mastering his craft.
Dan is trusted to independently manage interstate fiber laser and press brake installations, showcasing his growing expertise and reliability.

Ranuli (BAF) (CPA) (CFA Associate) is a critical member of the team, ensuring the business is a well oiled machine.
With exceptional attention to detail and a love for problem-solving, she’s invaluable to day to day operations, ensuring everything and everyone is running smoothly.

Marinés is a talented designer and artist, tasked with advertising what and who we are to the market.
We’ve been completing impressive projects for years, but never properly marketed ourselves, so it’s wonderful to have a member of the team with the talent to get us out there as we continue to grow.
