The PLT supports multiple tube fabrication workflows on a single platform. 6m, 9m and 12m material loading options. Single-tube, semi-automatic and fully-automatic feeding. Processes round, square, oval and special-shaped tubes from Ø20mm to Ø360mm. One system, multiple production setups.
3D Bevel Cutting. One Pass. Weld-Ready.
Traditional tube cutting requires secondary bevel prep. The PLT doesn't. A seamless 3D head handles weld geometry—0° to ±45° across V, Y, X, and K joint types—in the same pass as the cut. Tubes go straight from the laser to the weld cell. No grinding bay. No delay. Massive reduction in labour costs.
Triple-Chuck Precision.
A three-chuck system, where the second and third chucks both feature full-stroke capability, eliminates the gear adjustments most cutters require when switching between tube diameters. Big tube. Small tube. Same machine. No reconfiguration.
Zero Scrap. Cross-Centre Cutting.
The PLT cuts both sides of the centre chuck — recovering the end-of-tube material every conventional cutter throws away. Less scrap. More usable parts per tube.
Floating Support, Servo-Controlled.
Support units adjust dynamically to the tube’s rotational radius, with independent servo motor control on each. Fast response. High load capacity. Stable positioning across the full tube length. The mechanical compromises that limit lesser tube cutters at long lengths simply don’t apply here.
Smart Unloading.
Vision-guided recognition identifies and sorts cut workpieces automatically. The 6m floating unloading system handles tubes over 300kg with buffer-and-tilt logic that protects finished components from impact. Cutting ends. Sorting begins. The operator never touches a part.
